Bed
Bugs Control
You may
already be
familiar with bed bugs—those small, wingless insects that can
be usually found
in beds. But do you know you can also find these pesky bed bugs in
other areas
of your home? Bed bugs thrive in dark areas, and in other areas that
you may
least expect it. Some of the most common bed bug habitats include the
crevices
in the bedsteads, folds of mattresses, tufts, seams, bed covers, loose
areas of
wallpaper, corners of desks and drawers, box springs, and may others.
If you
have been complaining about bites while you are sleeping, then it is
highly
possible that your home is infested with bed bugs.
Bed bugs
are also
popularly known as clinches, crimson ramblers, house bugs, mahogany
flats, red
coats, and house lice. They may sport different names, but they are all
bed
bugs—and they bite! These insects usually feed at night,
using their
four-segmented antennae to suck blood out of your skin. You need bed
bugs
control if you have been experiencing bed bug bites. Now that you know
where to
find them, it will now be easy for you to exterminate these
bloodsuckers.
However,
you also need to
know the basics about bed bugs. Are you familiar with their appearance?
A
typical bed bug usually has an oval body that is flat from top to
bottom. They
may appear flimsy, and their texture can be a bit more papery or
crinkly. The
color of these wingless insects can also range from reddish brown to
brown—depending on their age and their recent blood sucking
activity. If they
are full, bed bugs can appear dull red. Now that you know all about
them and
their common hiding places, then its time for you to do some bed bugs
control.
Beds bugs
control is not
hard—if you have the right tools and knowledge. Remember that
they are only
active during night time, so do not be surprised if you can’t
find them during
the day. There are chemicals that can be used in exterminating these
pesky
insects, but you can also do some natural home remedies. One way is dry
cleaning those removable things on your house with very hot water (Just
be
careful, ok?) You can also try to relentlessly vacuum your home in
order to
kill them. There is no single effective solution to destroying bed
bugs, so try
them and find one that best suits you.
